Nature Photos As Desktop Backgrounds

As a semi-pro photographer I often use photographs i’ve taken as desktop backgrounds on my computer. Any kind of image can be used as desktop backgrounds but I prefer nature images, landscapes, animals and sunsets. There are no strict rules to follow when taking photos for use as desktop wallpapers but there are a few things to bear in mind, especially if you want other people to use them.

1. Try to keep the photo un-cluttered.

2. Don’t include your family or pets. Generally try to keep humans out of your nature photos.

3. Simple patterns often work well – colourful pebbles, close ups of petals, light reflecting off water ripples.

Once you get your photos home it’s a simple process with today’s digital cameras to get your images onto your computer and then select them as your desktop wallpaper.
