Pay Per Use Business Health Insurance
A couple of years ago, my staff and I decided to split the costs of the rising health care coverage for the business. What I mean by share the costs is that I took an average what it was going to cost me for Illinois small business health insurance and then took an average of what it would cost an individual employee to get coverage on their own. We compromised and now I just give them an additional payment every month and they can apply it to their own health coverage if they wish but it is in their hands to take care of their own coverage.
