We Try to Have a Semi Truck Parking Space for Each Driver
Our new meat processing plant is absolutely enormous. I think it is probably one of the largest in the country. We have trucks wanting to pull in at every hour of the day and night. To make sure that there is no mass confusion and that we actually have a semi truck parking place for the trucks that we are ready to load, we hold everyone else off until they get a ticket, and then we call for them when we are ready to load their trailers. It seems to work much better this way; at least the truckers say it makes more sense to them.
