The reason behind why there are only few podiatrists in some countries especially in Asia and eastern European countries it’s because there are no training programs for podiatrists. Podiatry is practiced in most countries around the world; and it is very prominent in countries like the USA, Canada, the UK, Australia and New Zealand and in some European countries. Some Asian countries have none. South Africa has some podiatrists, but other African countries do not. Finding a podiatrist in the Philippines can be a challenge as there are only a few, so you need to ask around, search the yellow pages and search online.
