BAPTISM
I was invited to attend the baptism of the daughter of my friend’s sister last Sunday. Being a friend of their family for so long, I have become like a true member of the family, always present in all family events and happenings. I was able to witness the opening of gifts after the affair and even join the family’s conversations and chitchats after all the guests have left. There were a lot of blue blankets, blue pillows and overalls, which I think are unusual christening gifts for a baby girl. I guess, I am just too conforming to colour codes that pink and yellow for baby girls and blue for baby boys.
