The Best Man Speech: Don’t Ramble!
Here you are, diligently writing your best man speech, to be presented in front of perhaps hundreds of complete strangers. Your heart beats wildly, and in your state of anxiety, you decide to talk about your relationship with the groom, starting from the day you met in kindergarten, through high school, college, first jobs, and now into the present day. Yawn. Don’t forget, the audience at a wedding wants to drink some champagne, do some dancing, and eat some cake, so keep your speech to a reasonable length, with a few interesting anecdotes thrown in. The groom and his wife will thank you for it later!
