Need Some Inspiration for My Father of the Bride Speech
My step-daughter is getting married in a couple of months. Her father passed away when she was younger and I married her mother a couple of years ago. She and I have never been very close because she was older when I came into the picture. However, I still need to stand in as the father of the bride at her wedding. I need some inspiration from some wedding speeches. I am not sure exactly what to say in a situation like this. I do not want to be too sentimental because that would seem overdone but I still want to say something nice.
