Teaching One of Life’s Important Lessons
A thank you goes a long way and most people do not recognize that fact. I am a school teacher and the grade I teach is First grade and I have for years taught my students the value of not only saying thank you for a nice gesture or a gift that was given but also writing some sort of note that lets the person know just how much it was appreciated. When I decided to include this as part of my yearly lessons, I thought some parents would be offended because they could very well teach their children this lesson but they actually thank me.
