A Proposal from a Friend
I was on the phone with one of my friends a few days ago, and he told me that he and his wife were talking about some inexpensive vacation ideas, and they were wondering if my wife and I would want to join them on a little trip. I told him that it sounded like a great idea, but I would have to talk with my wife about it, and see what she thinks. I knew that she would probably have a little trouble getting off work, since they have such a heavy schedule. I assured him that I would talk to her that night.
