Peruvian Food Plus a Whole Lot More!

After three visits to Peru, enjoying sites such as Cuzco and Lima I fell in love with Peruvian food. It would follow that I made it my business to go at least once a month to a Peruvian Restaurant. The Cristal beer is refreshing as the myriad of Peruvian specialties are delicious.Lomo Saltado with its mix of vegetables, meat and potatoes is a very satisfying meal that rivals an American stew platter. Ceviche is something nutritious for all those in a mood for a fish dish. With a lot of lemon juice its taste is unsurpassable. Papa Relleno is a great choice as the perfect potato and meat mixture. My favorite has to be anticuchos. On a stick they are the Peruvian Shishkebob. I used to confuse them with the town and department of Ayacucho. Anyone searching for a special meal that will have everything someone who appreciate good food can ask for should make it their business to plan a night out or a night in eating Peruvian food.
