The Colombia Embassy and a Long Wait
Although I don’t know exactly what she does, one of my good friends works for the government in some sort of diplomatic role in foreign countries. I’m a bad friend for not understanding exactly what she does, but then again, when she is home, I would rather hear about the things she saw and catch up with her than talk about the details of her job! Like the last time she was home, she was telling me about how long she had to wait for the Colombia Embassy to approve a visa for her daughter, who went with her on her last trip. I didn’t ask questions, because I wanted to hear more about Colombia!
